Prohibited Software and Applications
Software and applications are prohibited when they are designed or configured to facilitate unlawful access, theft, destructive activity, or infrastructure abuse. Examples include ransomware, credential stealers, keyloggers, botnets, command-and-control malware, phishing kits, destructive malware, carding tools, credential-stuffing tools, unauthorized exploit kits, spam engines, and tools used to disrupt networks without authorization.
Legitimate administration, development, defensive security, and research tools may be used when they are operated lawfully, with authorization, and in accordance with the service's resource and security requirements.
The system administrator may investigate suspected abuse and may suspend a service when necessary to protect customers, infrastructure, or the public. Customers remain responsible for the applications and data they install.
